The Conflict Mediator

When it comes to cyberbullying, it is crucial for families, schools, and institutions to work in unison, supported by relevant professionals. However, these groups do not always manage to communicate effectively, particularly when dealing with the world of young people.

For this reason, since 2018, the Zanshin Tech teacher training program has included the role of Cyberbullying and Bullying Mediation Consultant: a certified professional specializing in managing digital aggression and conflicts related to cyberbullying, with a particular focus on supporting and protecting victims. Their primary role is to facilitate conflict resolution, prevent aggression, and foster a safe, respectful, and mindful environment in both the physical and digital worlds.

The mediation consultant thus serves as a key point of contact for schools wishing to organize prevention and awareness programs regarding digital aggression, or when urgent intervention is required for a specific case.

The training includes sessions with psychologists, lawyers, educators, and experts in both physical and digital martial arts. Upon completion of the program, a Certificate of Professional Competence (Legislative Decree no. 13 of January 16, 2013) is issued. The course is recognized by the MIUR (the italian Ministry of Education, University and Research) and is listed on the SOFIA platform.

As of 2026, the course is divided into separate, sequential modules to accommodate those who wish to acquire the skills needed to guide young people in their daily lives without necessarily specializing or becoming a Zanshin Tech Sensei and Cyberbullying Mediation Consultant.

Their role involves guiding individuals, groups, and communities in preventing and combating digital aggression, with a particular focus on technology-related safety and awareness.

The Cyber Conflict Mediator is skilled in managing digital aggression and conflicts related to cyberbullying, with a particular focus on supporting and protecting victims. Their primary role is to facilitate conflict resolution, prevent aggression, and promote a safe, respectful, and conscious environment in both the physical and digital worlds.

Ethical Play Trainer

Gymnastics instructor specializing in bullying prevention

An additional module for those wishing to specialize in preventing physical bullying and disruptive behavior by using play-based and physical activities to foster self-esteem, life skills, soft skills, and prosocial competencies in young people. It awards a diploma as a "Gymnastics Instructor (Health and Fitness focus with an emphasis on play-based activities)."

Zanshin Tech Sensei

Certified Zanshin Tech Instructor

Individuals who have successfully completed the Cyber Identity Tutor and Cyber Conflict Mediator modules and attained the rank of 1st Dan in Zanshin Tech are eligible to take the teaching certification exam.
The teaching certification allows holders to open their own dojo or teach at existing dojos.
